Rocky Mountain Rumble 2010! Live ATC event presented by DENARTCC

The Denver ARTCC proudly presents the 2010 Rocky Mountain Rumble, February 27th, 2010 from 1800z-0300z.

vZDV's controllers will be gathering LIVE for this event, to increase the realism and authenticity of the ATC and experience for everyone involved.

Controller bids for this event will be opened on February 1, 2010.  Check back for updates.

We've added American Virtual Airlines' Ski Weekend Get Away as well!  They'll be flying into popular Colorado Ski Destinations to add a challenge for the CTR controllers.

** UPDATE 18-Jan-2010 ** We've been made aware of the VATUSA Winter Olympics Challenge going on from Feb 12 - 28, 2010.  Since Rocky Mountain Rumble falls within those dates, we've decided to try to encourage pilots to fly from/to Vancouver (CYVR) during our event.  ARTCCs and Pilots are awarded points based on a number of criteria and VATUSA will be giving away virtual Gold, Silver and Bronze medals based on those points.
